- The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida has a requirement for one (01) year of software maintenance - which consists of diagnostic and repair service, updates, and upgrades - on its Nuance Communications PowerScribe system. The period of performance will be 12 months in duration from the date of award which is expected to be on or about 20 August 2010. The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to Nuance Communications for this requirement. Nuance Communications, a large business, retains proprietary rights to the software. This is not a request for proposal. Companies that assert that they can fulfill this service requirement must submit supporting documentation for such an assertion to the Contracting Officer associated with this posting.
