Description

J&A Sole Source Justification 647th Contracting Squadron, Hickam AFB, HI intends to enter into a sole source procurement with CareFusion formerly Cardinal Health for Pyxis MedStation Consoles to be used in the Pharmacy and Dental Clinic at Hickam AFB, HI. The required equipment are automated medication management systems that will interface with the Joint Medical Host Information System which is already in place. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. However, interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement shall submit technical data (including cost) sufficient to determine compatibility of specified items. Responses can be submitted to casey.shaner@hickam.af.mil. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 PM HST, 11 Aug 2010. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
