Description
The purpose of this modification is to to clarify this requirement and answer questions. 1. The minimum requirement is now defined as follows: 1. Mainstreet Menu Systems’ digital menu system or the equivalent 1EA. The menu system is to include the following components: a. 4EA-42” LCD Commercial Grade Monitors (digital sinage displays). These menus will need to display mainly text menu items with prices. b. The menu system is required to have at least one area in the facility from which the system can be controlled remotely and wirelessly up to a maximum area of 50 ft. c. The system is to allow the control of the displays from anywhere on the LAN. d. The contractor must provide the LAN & all LAN related equipment. e. All provided pcs or media players are to have at least 1GB RAM & the capability to store pre existing menus. f. Wall Mount hardware for the 42” Monitors All hardware and software so that all equipment has the capability of interfacing with each other, transmit and receive data from multiple locations and display the required programming content/info formation on the display screens. Please include the shipping & installation cost with your quote. 2. The following questions are asked and answered: 1.Will those displays be mounted in the same area with access to one LAN/ W-LAN? Displays will be in different areas but relatively close in proximity (maybe 30-50 ft max apart) All will have access to one LAN 2.Will those displays broadcast the same material at the all times? or different material on each screen? Different material on different screens, example, one for main line items, one for snack line items, etc 3.Will the DS display contain 1 zone only or would you prefer to have multiple zones (ex. image zone, video zone, information/ text zone, background zone, time and date zone, ticker (RSS feed or customized), live TV feed zone, etc...) Our minimum standard is text, anything above that would just be a bonus 4.Is the contractor responsible for the supply of the LAN/ W-LAN equipment required? Yes 5.What is the avarage distance between displays? See answer #1
