- Sole Source Justification The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement for Ryder Test Gears as follows: Clin 0001, 100 pairs, 930416/930417 Test Gears IAW Navy drawings NAPC 930416 and NAPC 930417 and must conform to Heat Treat Specification Numbers 584326 & 65321. The government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Delta Gear Inc under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Alternate or substituted parts will not be accepted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals from small businesses received by 0800, 11Aug2010 may be considered by Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. the Government will not pay for any information received.
