- All Interested Parties: The Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington, KY is soliciting quotations under Request for Quote (RFQ) P01091000035 for September FY10 Produce. Please read the RFQ carefully and include all information requested in your quote. Award date will be approximately August 27, 2010, with offers due by August 26, 2010, 2:00 PM EDST. Contract performance/delivery schedule will be from September 8, 2010 through September 30, 2010, with deliveries weekly as requested by the Food Service Administrator. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror (s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher that past performance. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be made available on or before August 09, 2010, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All communications regarding this RFQ may be made in writing to Jason Morgan, Contract Specialist, via telephone at (859) 255-6812 ext. 5136, or via email to jcmorgan@bop.gov Please read the instructions that are incorporated by reference in FAR provision 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items", and the addendum to the provision. An original of your quote must be submitted no later than August 26, 2010 2:00 PM EST, to the following address: Federal Bureau of Prisons FMC Lexington Attn: Contracting Office 3301 Leestown Rd. Lexington, KY 40511 The Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit or obligate the Government to an expenditure of public funds should a contract result from this RFQ.
