- 55 CONS/LGCZ, Offutt AFB, NE intends to award a 6 month sole source task order extension to MacAulay-Brown, Inc. under authority of 40 U.S.C. 121(c), FAR 52.217-8. The specific circumstance that justifies restriction for this acquisition is FAR 52.217-8. The continued work is a logical extension to the original task order which was competed and awarded in accordance with the USAMS II Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract. The original order was not issued under sole source or limited source procedures. The contractor shall continue to provide information strategy support to USSTRATCOM/J2. The primary objective of this task order is to provide expertise to meet command requirements for IO intelligence planning, assessments, strategy, policies, procedures, experimentation, and execution. A Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information and Nuclear Command and Control/Extremely Sensitive Information is required for contractor personnel to perform their duties in an SCI facility. This notice is neither a request for a competitive proposal nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement is based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice should not be construed as a committment by the Government. If your company has the capability to provide Information Strategy support at full performance starting 30 September 2010 through 29 March 2011, provide a capability package to the Contracting Officer and a copy to the Contract Specialist by the response date, 12 August 2010.
