- Department of Veterans Affairs, Robley Rex VA Medical Center (VISN 9) Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Robley Rex VA Medical Center, 800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, Ky 40206-1433 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with SCM True Air Technologies of Louisville, Kentucky to furnish, install and provide training on the Evacupod Overlay Emergency Evacuation Device System. NAICS code 423450 is applicable to this requirement, with a size standard of 100 Employees. The Government believes that SCM True Air Technologies is the only authorized provider for the Evacupod Overlay Emergency Evacuation Device System. This is a sole source procurement utilizing, 41 U.S.C. 250(c ) and Other than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can provide this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist, no later than 4:00 PM EST, August 20, 2010. Interested offerors must provide supporting evidence of ability to provide the Evacupod Overlay Emergency Evacuation Device System, to the Contract Specialist Roxie Ann Keese via email address: Roxie.Keese@va.gov or faxed. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source negotiation to SCM True Air Technologies for the required Evacupod Overlay Emergency Evacuation Device System.
