- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure, on a sole source basis, a quantity of four MVRS700 6X6 all terrain vehicles manufactured by Polaris Sales Incorporated of 2100 Highway 55, Medina, MN 55340. The Government requires the brand name vehicles for exact compatibility and for testing purposes with the current platform. Market research for this requirement has been performed and no other replacement products have been approved as suitable alternatives. This procurement will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 441210 with a size standard of $7 Million. The closing date is 10:00 AM ET on 9 AUGUST 2010. The anticipated award date is 13 AUGUST 2010. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
