- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The awarded contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. This action is solicited using Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335921 with a size standard of 1000 employees. All prospective bidders must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. Award will be made to the technically acceptable, low price proposal on an All or None Basis. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 dated 04 August 2006. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. The proposal shall consist of six (6) Contract Line Items, Brand name or Equal, to the following: (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 02, Unit of Issue: each, Description: Optical receiver chassis, PN# ODR-15G; (1-8 channel), Chassis only; (CLIN) 0002, Quantity: 16, Unit of Issue: each, Description: Optical Receiver Module, PN#ODR15M; (CLIN) 0003, Quantity: 16, Unit of Issue: each, Description: Optical Transmitters, 8 input, PN# ODT-15i; (CLIN) 0004, Quantity: 20, Unit of Issue: each, Description: Battery Pack 8 volt EMP hardened, PN# APS-33; (CLIN) 0005, Quantity: 04, Unit of Issue: each, Description: Battery Charger, Rackmount, 3-Station, PN# ABC-15; (CLIN) 0006, Quantity: 20, Unit of Issue: each, Description: Optical Fiber System, Duplex, 200 m with two-segment spool, PN# FOC-1500C All quotations shall be clearly marked with RFQ referencing number # W9124Q-10-T-ODLS2, emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) below no later than 11 Aug 2010 at 2:30 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST). Offerors that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
