- The VISN 6 Centralized Acquisition Service intends to issue a solicitation for the delivery of Milk and milk products to four (4) VA Medical Centers in North Carolina for the service period 10/1/2010 through 9/30/2011. This is a one year contract. All prices will be firm fixed with the contract being an indefinite quantity contract. The delivery locations are as follows: VAMC, 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805; VAMC, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705; VAMC, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301; and VAMC, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144. Offerors will be asked to submit quotes for only those VA Medical Centers they wish to provide milk delivery. The Government reserves the right upon award to make single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation; that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. Award date is approximately 10/01/2010. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is 08/16/10, with offers due by 09/01/2010. Copies of this solicitation can be found; viewed and downloaded on the Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www. fedbizopps.gov./. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Each offer is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
