- Under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) and FAR 6.302-1, the National Park Service, Southeast Region East Major Acquisition Buying Office, (SERO MABO), intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Paul Landscaping & Nursery, INC of Plains, Georgia to install an outdoor low-voltage lighting system at the Memorial Garden within the Carter Compound. NAICS code 238990 is available to this requirement. Size Standard: 14m. The Government believes that Paul Landscaping & Nursery is the only authorized provider that has been approved and cleared by the US Secret Service and has performed services similar on other Presidential sites. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, any firm that believes they have a clearance to provide this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist Robert Solomon, no later than 4:00 PM EST, August 23, 2010. Interested offerors must provide supporting evidence of their clearance, and ability to install an outdoor low-voltage lighting system at the Memorial Garden, to the Contract Specialist Robert Solomon via email: Robert_solomon@nps.gov or faxed. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Responses received will be evaluated: however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the NPS will proceed with the sole source negotiation to Paul Landscaping & Nursery for the required outdoor low-voltage lighting system. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE
