- This is a Notice of Intent to award Single Source Firm Fixed Price contract to United States Marine Corps Historical Company located at 3807 Baker Valley Road, Frederick, MD, 21704-7652 under the basis of authority of FAR 6.302-1 for Historical Uniforms in support of National Museum of the Marine Corps. United States Marine Corps Historical Company can supply an assortment of Marine Corps Uniform, equipment and accoutrements for the National Museum of the Marine Corps that meet the standards and regulation of the museum. United States Marine Corps Historical Company holds exclusive manufacturing, and distribution rights for uniforms and reference materials. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
