- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center/PKOA is seeking expressions of interest having the capability to design a CCTV system to be installed at several installation gates. The effort required under this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to provide drawings and plans necessary to implement a CCTV system for installation gates at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico 87117. Submitted Capabilities Statements should include Capabilities and Past Performance. Capabilities should state: use of Air Force Approved software and specify the brand(s); work with CCTV systems that integrate the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) and any training and certifications for Video Image Control and Display Systems (VICADS) or equivalent video control and distribution systems. Past Performance should indicate if CCTV systems have been installed on other Air Force Bases. Include the base name, project number and point of contact. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541330, Engineering Services and the size standard for small business is $4.5 million. Firms responding to this announcement must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and should include company name, cage code, point of contact, address and indicate if it is a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business. The Government reserves the right to consider the acquisition for the 8(a) program based upon responses received to this sources sought announcement.
