- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR Survival Kit Deployment Actuator B-1, B-52, F-4 & T-38 Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, OO-ALC/GHGJ PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION This is a Source Sought Synopsis announcement, market research for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. This market research is being conducted to identify potential sources possessing the engineering and manufacturing knowledge for the Survival Kit Deployment Actuator used in B-52, F-4, and T-38 aircraft. No proposal is requested or accepted from this synopsis. This is not a solicitation for proposal or no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The Department of the Air Force Material Command, OO-ALC/GHGJ, Hill AFB is conducting a market survey for the following Survival Kit Deployment Actuator requirements: National Stock Number 1377-01-299-9862ES Part Number 6014100-01 INSTRUCTION (1) Relevant Experience to include performing engineering, manufacturing, inspection, and testing of similar Cartridge Actuated and Propellant Actuated Devices in the last 5 years. (2) Company profile will include the following: A. Number of employees. B. Office Location C. CAGE Code D. DUNS number E. Small Business designation/status claimed No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The government has very limited technical data to provide to potential offerors. Offerors must possess access to all appropriate data and Scot, Inc., Downers Grove, Illinios has the capacity and drawings for the Survival Kit Deployment Actuator and the government does not own or have the right to use the data required to manufacture this device. Interested offerors shall respond to this Source Sought Synopsis no later than 3:00PM 19 August 2010.
