Description: The general scope of work includes, but not limited to: Replace existing wooden bridge(s) constructed in 1941, with new steel and concrete bridge(s) at mile marker 15.0, with optional bridges at mile markers 0.2, 0.2A, and 3.0. NAICS code: 237310. PROJECT LOCATION: Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri - Pulaski County MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The SITE VISIT is scheduled to be at Fort Leonard Wood, MO - Resident Engineer Office Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:00 am CST. Please EMAIL company attendees to Stephanie.d.randall@usace.army.mil NO LATER THAN Monday, August 16th, 2010 for security reasons. NO phone call RSVPs will be accepted. The solicitation will be issued as Invitation for Bid (IFB) #W912DQ-10-B-4005, which will result in the award of a single FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) construction contract. The IFB will be made available electronically on or about August 9th, 2010 and responses will be due thirty (30) days later (see bid for due date). The official bid, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction and final clean up is TWO-HUNDRED and SEVENTY (270) DAYS from notice to proceed (NTP). Interested bidders MUST be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Offerors can register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at (888) 227-2423. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications online at http://orca.bpn.gov. Offerors will need their DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log in to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. Offerors are also required to register at www.vets100.com. The IFB, with plans, specifications, and any amendments, will be published in electronic format on FedBizOps https://www.fbo.gov under the subject IFB number above. Vendors must be actively registered in FEDTEDs to obtain a copy of this IFB. There will be no printed hard copies or CD-ROM disks provided by this agency. Note: Plan Rooms, Printing Companies, and various Trade Associations frequently register as Plan Holders for electronic IFB and make them available in printed or CD-ROM format for a fee. Potential offerors with limited printing or downloading capabilities should consider these alternatives.
