- SOW RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Mammal Laboratory located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a commercial vessel to conduct survey for 10 days sometime during 8-22 Nov 2010. The entire solicitation is attached. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with the period of performance commencing approximately from date award through Dec 31, 2010 with no option periods. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) code 487210 with a corresponding size standard of $7.0M. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to (206) 527-7513 attention to Maria Mendoza. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this solicitation and resultant award.
