- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport intends to award on a sole-source basis to The Ex-One Company, 1 Industry Blvd., Irwin, PA 15642-0470, an order for maintenance and repair of the government-owned PROMETAL AMCast system that will further develop the use of a new rapid prototyping process and equipment known as Rapid Cast Technology (RCT) at NUWC Keyport. The Ex-One Company is the sole distributor for the needed services and as such exclusively holds the proprietary information necessary to perform maintenance and repair of the PROMETAL AMCast system. A firm fixed price contract for a base period of six (6) months with nine (9) additional six (6) month option periods for the required services is planned. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.
