- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SDARNG has a requirment for 8 Audio Video Systems and 15 - 46 inch LED Displays to be installed in a new facility, located at 2823 W Main, Rapid City, SD. The AV systems are to be capable of displaying content from multiple sources (Cable TV, DVD, Computer, LCD Projector) and connected to the SDARNG communications network. The 46 inch LED display units will be used for electronic messaging & audio/visual feed. The vendor will provide all equipment, support items, training and installation of the equipment within the facility. A specific brand of windows encoder (VBrick- Model 9190-4200-100) is required to be integrated into the SDARNG current broadcast system. The vendor will provide this item as part of the AV System. Consideration is to be given to energy efficient components where possible. Vendor is to identify country of manufacture for the equipment. The new facility is being constructed with network wall connection boxes that the AV equipment will be plugged into. The vendor will provide connecting wall plates and system cabling.
