- Description
- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood, Texas, anticipates the solicitation of a service contract that will require a contractor to provide all management, labor, supervision, supplies, materiel, and equipment to conduct integration, maintenance, repair, replacement, installation, upgrade, and training for the Command, Control, Computers and Communications (C4) support, Audio Visual and Systems Integration in support of III Corps and Fort Hood and its Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), tenant organizations and other missions supported by Fort Hood, Texas. The contractor shall provide all audio visual, video, digital, display, fiber optics, IT, VTC, MCU, air conditioning, power, electrical grounding, fabrication support and networking equipment, intercom systems, and other components associated with the C4 of Fort Hood Tactical Command Posts (CPs), Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs), Emergency Operations Centers (EOC), unit Headquarters and other associated buildings and shelters supporting units in support of the Global War on Terrorism(Terrorism (GWOT). This procurement will be set aside for qualified 8(a) firms only. This requirement was previously synopsized as W91151-09-R-0011. That solicitation is being replaced with solicitation number W91151-10-R-0023. There will be one contract awarded as a result of this solicitation and it will be a firm fixed price, requirements type contract consisting of a base year and four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238210 (Electrical Contractors) and the Small Business Size Standard is $14M. The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation (Request for Proposal (RFP)) on or about 20 August 2010 with a closing date of 20 September 2010. The RFP will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible, responsive and timely offers will be considered for award.
