- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FA8307-10-R-0030 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. The small business size standard is 100 Employees in average annual receipts. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The Government intends to make an award using small business set-aside procedures as implemented by FAR 6.203. The Government contemplates an award of a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order contract resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form at FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil 2. The No! rth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423430 - Computer and Computer Peripheral Equipment and Software Merchant Wholesalers. 3. Description of services: This requirement is for the procurement of Juniper Power Supply. (No substitute items will be accepted) Qty: 2, Unit: EA, P/N: PWR-M40e-AC-S; Delivery: 5 days after receipt of order. Please quote shipping costs separately or state shipping is included in the unit price on your quote. This requirement is BRAND NAME ONLY. Offerors must be Juniper Networks Federal Authorized Partners. Please see Attachment 1 for additional information. This combined synopsis/solicitation notice is a request for competitive quotations. 4. The Government will award a single purchase order contract resulting from this RFQ in accordance to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of price and delivery schedule. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52-212-1, Inst! ructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items; the evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of the provision are as follows: The significant evaluation factors, in the relative order of importance are: 1) Price and 2) Proposed delivery times. Evaluation factors are approximately equal. 5. Offerors must submit representations and certifications in accordance with the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item. (Accessible at the FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil). 6. Submit the following documents in response to this RFQ: a. Representations and Certifications b. Price Quotation with per unit pricing and delivery time. Submit offers to the attention of Ivy Furnace, Contract Specialist via email to: ivy.furnace@us.af.mil no later than 9 August 2010, 4:00 P.M. CST. No telephone calls will be accepted. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Off! erors who fail to complete and submit the requirements above may be considered non-responsive. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
