- Sources Sought. The VA Medical Center located in Asheville, North Carolina, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish all EMS Professionals and equipment to provide emergent and non-emergent, basic and advanced life support ambulance service, twenty-four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty-five days per year, and hired car when required, to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805. The VAMC Asheville, NC area of coverage ( catchment area ) includes the following VISN 6 locations: VAMC Beckley West Virginia, VAMC Durham North Carolina, VAMC Hampton Virginia, VAMC Fayetteville North Carolina, VAMC Richmond Virginia, VAMC Salem Virginia, VAMC Salisbury North Carolina and whenever required, outside of the VISN. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621910. Size standard is $7.0 Million. This is a sources sought notice only. It is the VA s intent to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify whether or not firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement.
