- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be posted on NECO/FBO satisfies the requirement of FAR 5.201(b)(1)(i). (http://www.neco.nayy.mil) and www.fbo.gov.THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302 FOR THIS PROCUREMENT ACTION. INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT, SUBMIT QUOTES / PROPOSALS AND CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETETIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. HOWEVER, ALL QUOTES OR PROPOSALS RECEIVED BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS POSTING WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (PHD), Port Hueneme, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, Sole Source, the following items:Ruggedized Armored Auto Variable Dispersion Infrared Laser IR PTZ Camera's, Qty: 1 EA, P/N: VSCS0330 / 100330 and VSCS0342 / 100342, Qty: 1 EAThe Government reserves the right to award on an all or nothing, or partial basis.The NAICS code is: 333315 and the size standard: 500 Employees. This combined synopsis/solicitation is a 'SOLE SOURCE' requirement. The contract type will be a Firm, Fixed Price.This requirement is Sole Sourced to: Patronus Security Group, LLC, as the only source that can produce this specific type of camera. They are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). These cameras are an integral part of the IVDD/DIVDS shipboard requirements. They are currently installed on DDG-51 thru DDG-78 and CG59-73. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting office no later than 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the material without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
