- SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION AND APPROVAL This is a notice of intent to issue an order to HK Systems, 515 East 100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for vendor to provide Automated Search and Retrieval System (ASRS) maintenance to include four preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs) of three HK Systems’ mini-load 750 SRM; 24x7x365 telephone support; and 48 hours on-site response at Defense Imagery Management Operations Center (DIMOC) – Riverside. This announcement constitutes the only notice, a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See attached SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION AND APPROVAL.
