Seeking Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) to provide maintenance service for emergency generators. Vendor shall be responsible for all necessary labor, materials, parts, components, tools, supervision and transportation. The venue is at the St. Albans VA Extended Care Center, located at 179-00 Linden Blvd., St. Albans, NY 11425. (1)REPLACE ALL HOSES (2)REPLACE ALL FUSES (3)REPLACE ALL ENGINE OIL (4)PRESSURE WASH ALL RADIATORS (5)REPLACE ALL COOLANT AND PROTECT TO 35F (6)REPLACE ALL DEFECTIVE WATER PUMPS (7)INSTALL RAINCAPS ON ALL GENERATOR EXHUASTS WHERE MISSING (8)TEST ALL GENERATORS FOR WET STACKING CONDITION AND SUBMIT SEPARATE REPORT TO ENGINEERING OFFICE (9)PERFORM OIL ANALYSIS AND SUBMIT FINDING ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PER CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE PERFORMED AT PREDETERMINED/SCHEDULED TIMES. SCHEDULING SHALL BE ARRANGED WITH THE FACILITY MANAGER IN HIS OFFICE LOCATED IN ROOM A119. IF THE CONTRACTOR OBSERVES THAT REPAIRS BEYOND THOSE SPECIFIED IN THIS CONTRACT ARE REQUIRED, SUCH REPAIRS WILL BE REPORTED TO THE FACILITY MANAGER PRIOR TO COMMENCING REPAIRS. CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE REPAIRS FOR ANY ITEM NOT SPECIFICALLY LISTED HEREIN WHEN AUTHORIZED IN WRITING. ALL SUCH REPAIR WORK WILL BE CHARGED ON A SEPARATE INVOICE AT STANDARD RATES INCLUDING PRICES FOR PARTS AND LABOR. FACILITY MANAGER WILL SCHEDULE THIS WORK AFTER APPROVAL IS GIVEN TO THE CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR SHALL WARRANTY ALL WORK BOTH LABOR AND MATERIAL, WHICH MAY BE PERFORMED AND SHALL COMPLETE AND FORWARD TO FACILITY MANAGER (AT THE COMPLETION OF EACH MAINTENANCE VISIT), A CHECKLIST ITEMIZING ALL SERVICE PERFORMED AND/OR NEEDED. IF EMERGENCY SERVICE IS NEEDED, CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE TO HAVE SERVICE AVAILABLE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE AFTER APPROVAL TO PROCEED IS GIVEN BY THE FACILITY MANAGER. PHASE II: SCOPE OF WORK: CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ANY/ALL MATERIAL STATED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THE CONTACTOR SHALL PERFORM ON A MONTHLY BASIS THE FOLLOWING TASKS: SERVICE/MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS: CHECK FUEL, COOLING SYSTEMS, LEVELER, LUBRICATION, EXHAUST, ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AND GOVERNOR/GENERATOR. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INSPECTIONS OF ALL ITEMS LISTED BELOW: (1)DRAIN FUEL FILTER AND REPLACE ON MAIN TANK. DRAIN FUEL FILTER AND REPLACE ON DAY TANK. CHANGE FUEL FILTERS - BOTH TANKS, EXERCISE FUEL TRANSFER PUMP, INSPECT ALL COMPONENTS OF FUEL SYSTEM. (2)CHANGE WATER FILTER, RESTORE COOLANT TO PROPER LEVEL PROTECTED TO (-35F). (3)REPLACE ALL FAN BELTS. (4)INSPECT BATTERY AND SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM. (5)INSPECT RADIATOR CONDITION FOR LEAKS. (6)CHANGE LUBRICATING OIL AND FILTERS. (7)CHANGE/CLEAN CRANK CASE BREATHER. (8)INSPECT/LUBE OIL SYSTEM. (9)INSPECT CONDENSATION DRAIN TRAP. (10)CHANGE GOVERNOR PUMP LUBE OIL. (11)CHECK LINKAGE AND BALL JOINTS; CHECK FOR VIBRATION AND NOISE; INSPECT ALL COMPONENTS, TEST GOVERNOR OPERATION. (12)CHECK BATTERY VENT CAP. (13)CHECK BATTERY CABLES AND TERMINALS.
