- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration, Jefferson Lab Complex in Jefferson, Arkansas, is seeking firms interested in performing the renovation of lab 214 in building 26A. The scope of work includes providing and installing one fume hood and associated controls. Relocate electrical receptacles and base cabinets, patch floors, patch and paint walls as necessary, remove ceiling grid and panels and replacing with 2'x2' vinyl ceiling grid. Architectural, mechanical and electrical work will be required and detailed in attachment 1 drawings and attachment 2 fume hood specifications when the solicitation is issued. The work to include architectural, electrical and mechanical demolition and renovation. This procurement will be set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 M. The period of performance is 110 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price. The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about August 3, 2010. Pre-Proposal/Site Visit for interested vendors will be held on site in Jefferson Arkansas on August 11, 2010 at 10 A.M. Central Time.
