- J&A for Separation and Detection of Heavy Metals SOW Separation and Detection of Heavy Metals from Complex Mixtures using Gradient Elution Moving Boundary Electrophoresis The U.S. Department of State intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Applied Research Associates, Inc. citing FAR part 6 subpart 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are no other firms in the area that can satisfy the requirement in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
