- J&A Approval The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Lee, VA, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Siemens Industry Building Technologies, 5106 Glen Alden Drive, Richmond, VA 23231 to install new electronic digital control system. This acquisition will be procured under 10.USC 2304(c) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) PART 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES, PROPOSALS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax or email requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same brand name product. All capability statements received within 3 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Matthew.Cogossi@us.army.mil. Statements are due by 12:00pm (EST) 6 August 2010. No phone calls accepted. QUESTIONS WILL BE TAKEN UP UNTIL 2:00PM 4 AUGUST 2010. THE APPLICABLE NAICS CODE IS 236220. ANY INTERESTED, QUALIFIED, AND REASONSIBLE BUSINESS OFFEROR THAT FEELS THEY CAN SATISFY THIS REQUIREMENT MUST IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST, EXPERIENCE, AND CAPABILITY TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENT. ANY INTEREST MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 12:00PM (EST) 5 August 2010. IF NO RESPONSES ARE RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE TO DETERMINE WHETHER A QUALIFIED SOURCE IS MORE ADVANTAGEOUS TO THE GOVERNMENT, A CONTRACT WILL BE PLACED WITH SIEMENS INDUSTRY BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTING REGISTRATION (CCR) DATA BASE.
