- SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex - Butner, North Carolina, plans to issue solicitation RFQP01061000039 for the construction of repairing and replacement of existing expansion joints at predetermined locations at the Federal Medical Center located at the Federal Correctional Complex - Butner, North Carolina. The performance period is 180 calendar days. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about August 20, 2010 with an anticipated due date for receipt of quotes being approximately September 20, 2010. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
