- Location Map Bldg 6421 Site Drawing Bldg 6421 Septic Layout Schematic Electric Plan Bldg 1326 Site Layout Bldg 1324 Site Layout Pre-Solicitation Install Septic Systems at Blgs 1324 & 1326 Eielson AFB, AK The work consists of the contractor providing all personnel, labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation and supervision necessary to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. Description: Provide all work needed to include, but not limited to: Regulatory approved decommissioning of the wastewater storage tanks at each location. Tanks shall be pumped dry; top surfaces removed; and completely filled full of sand. Contractor shall remove and dispose of bollards along new pipe alignment. Installation of approved 1,000 gallon, HDPE septic tank and leach field system at each location and the generation of as-built drawings of each system. Installation of high water alarm light with float switch in B6421 as shown in schematic drawings attached. High water alarm shall be non-auditory with a simple low-voltage loop to a step-down transformer mounted adjacent to building MDP and fed with from new circuit breaker. **Eligible contractors shall be certified by the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation as Conventional Onsite Domestic Wastewater treatment and Disposal System Installers.** The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238910 with a size standard of $14 million. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is being solicited IAW 19.10 - Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program. The solicitation will be available on or about 18 August 2010. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement, all solicitation documents will be available electronically and it is the responsibility of the offeror to register for notification of updates to this procurement via this web site.
