- Description
- Contractor to furnish all plant, labor, parts, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision required to complete the following construction project, Repair Parking Lots and Roads base wide, RVKQ 10-0476/0479, to include the following: 1) Milling of Pavement. 2) Placement of truing and leveling course of asphalt concrete. 3) Saw-cut all transition areas. 4) Place tack coat. 5) Place dense binder and wearing course (N.Y.S. - D.O.T. Type 7F), hot mixed bituminous asphalt concrete. 6) Raise all manholes, drain inlets and valve boxes. 7) Saw or rout if necessary, clean and seal all random cracks. 8) Provide new reflective pavement markings/striping. 9) New asphalt concrete pavement. 10) Topsoil and seed all non-pavement areas. 11) Remove all refuse and waste materials. Work to be performed at the 914 Airlift Wing, Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara County, NY. Performance time is 120 calendar days. A single Firm Fixed-Price construction contract will be awarded. For this solicitation it has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by the Small Business Administration Buffalo District Office, and other 8(a) construction firms with a bona fide place of business within the geographical competitive area and the assigned NAICS code of 237310. All other 8(a) Business Development Participants are deemed ineligible to submit offers. NAICS code is 237310, the SIC code is 1611 and the Small Business Size Standard is $33,500,000.00. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Estimated issue date for the solicitation, FA6670-10-B-0004, is 18 August 2010 with bids due 30 days thereafter. The complete solicitation will only be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for any changes or updates. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.giv and have Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) http://www.orca.bpn.gov. Failure to register in both databases will render the contractor ineligible for award. Bid, Payment & Performance Bonds will be required.
