- This is only a correction to a previous notice, the acquisition has been awarded. Estimated issue date December 15, 2009 and estimated closing/response date January 14, 2010 PR#: FD2030-10-70120 RFP#: SPRTA1-10-R-0224 Nomenclature/Noun: Vertical Indicator used on E-3 Aircraft, Part Number 50233-30 (Cage 34830). AMC: 3P History: Awarded March 4, 2008 to contractor Rogerson Kratos on Contract FA8103-08-M-0061 for 2 each, Estimated Unit Price: $5,723.22. L/I 0001 -Maximum BEQ of 30 (3 Year Basic). Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 4.1562 (IN), Height 2.0000 (IN), Width 2.0000 (IN), Weight.7.0000 (LB). Item Function: Provides hydraulic pressure indication. Material: Casing is made of corrosion resistant alloys and the inside components are various electronic parts. 10-61255 is a spec control drawing proprietary to Boeing. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources is not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed or otherwise obtained. Currently, Rogerson Kratos (Cage 34830) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Rogerson Kratos (Cage 34830). An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 739-4437. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The proposed contract is restricted to domestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. Accordingly, foreign sources, except Canadian sources are not eligible for award.
