- Description
- The following work will be performed at the Charles A. Halleck Federal Building, 230 N. 4 th Street, Lafayette, IN. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to revitrify the terrazzo floors. The contractor shall strip and finish, fill pits, and hone terrazzo floors with 60 - 800 grit diamond pads to a high polish and vitrify them. The estimated start date is December 1, 2010. The NAICS code is 561210, with a size standard of $35.5 million. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 8/18/2010. This is a negotiated procurement; there will not be a public bid opening. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Business Opportunities. FBO is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FBO, you will first be required to register with CCR (Central Contractor's Registration) database. You may access CCR at the following URL, www.bpn.gov. Also, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors will be required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation.
