- Wage Rates - Davis Bacon - Erie County, NY Drawings - North Bridge Site Construction Specifications - North Bridge Site Drawings - South Bridge Site Construction Specifications - South Bridge Site Solicitation Package - Bid Schedule, Clauses and Provisions Bid Form - SF 1442 - Solicitation, Offer and Award The USDA NRCS in New York is issuing this solicitation for work authorized under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program due to recent heavy rain with resultant flooding conditions. This streambank stabilization work is to relieve imminent hazards to life and property. This project consists of two sites - South Bridge Site and North Bridge Site. Work on the North Bridge Site includes site dewatering, channel clearing, the installation of approximately 180 linear feet of slope rock riprap, and seeding to stabilize the stream bank. The work on the South Bridge site consists of site dewatering, installation of approximately 30 linear feet of stacked and pinned rock riprap, 170 linear feet of sloped rock riprap, one (1) rock stream barb, seeding, and plantings to stabilize. All work is necessary to stablilize the stream bed and banks along Clear Creek in the Town of Collins, Erie County, New York. Alternative payment protection in the amount of 50% of contract amount in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit will be required within 7 calendar days of award of contract. The location of the work sites will be within the flooded areas and as described in the solicitations. All necessary permits and land rights have been acquired. A firm-fixed price award is anticipated under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation package, construction drawings and specifications are available only from this site. Bid opening is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on August 19, 2010. A pre-bid site showing is scheduled for Thursday, August 12 at 10 a.m. To participate meet at the South Bridge in the pump station driveway on Taylor Road between Lenox 9aka West Quaker) and Richardson Roads. Price Range is between $25,000 - $100,000 Maximum performance time will be 24 calendar days
