- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge, 13571 Upper Embankment Road, Namp, ID 83686, has a requirement for repair and paving of the existing parking lot at the Visitors Center (VC).Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and spervision for removal and disposal of the existing asphalt surface of the Visitors Center parking lot, repair of areas of subbase failure using Partial and/or Full-depth Repair methods as determined by the Technical Coordinator, and the placing and compacting new asphalt.VC Parking Lot Descripiton:Size: Approximately 24,000 square feetLayout: The parking lot is located on a gently sloping hillside, with circulation perpendicular to the slope and forming a loop around a large central landscape island. Parking stalls are located on three levels and are generally parallel to the slope. Profile: The exisiting parking lot is composed of asphalt with an aggregate sub-base of indeterminate depth. An 8' high continuous ocncerete curb forms the internal and external perimeter of the parking lot; with the exception of the western edge of the parking ot at the VC entry, which abuts a 3'-0' wide concrete sidewalk.Technical POC: is Randy Aulbach at 208-467-9278, Contracting Officer is Lorrie Gleghorn at 503-231-2392.This project is set aside for small business concerns.
