Description
The Olympic National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract stand examination data collection services. Information shall be collected in accordance with the Government-provided Common Stand Exam (CSE) User Guide, the current version of the guide and associated data collection software when a task order is issued and Region-specific appendices, unless specifically modified by the contents of this contract. This solicitation will result in a performance-based, indefinite quantity contract. The period of performance will be stated in each Task Order. The duration of the IDIQ contract is 3 years. Project areas are on the Olympic National Forest, Washington. Task orders will be concentrated within the 6th HUC watershed boundaries (approximately 10,000-30,000 acres), though some task orders may be dispersed over a larger portion of the National Forest. Specific stands and plot locations will be identified in each Task Order. Period for performance is from September 01, 2010, to August 31, 2013. Project Manager is Mr. Mark Senger, 360-956-2358. The government will proceed to issue a solicitation for commercial service as a Request for Proposals, under FAR Part 12. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, and past performance. Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government Service Contract Act wage rates apply to any resulting contract. The proposed contract-type is indefinite quantity. This solicitation will be available on or about August 04, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
