Description

DESCRIPTION: This work consists of removing an old fence and nstalling a six foot high chain link fence on the face of the Clair A. Hill Whiskeytown Dam, along the north facing slope which is on uneven and rocky terrain. The fence will include installation of posts, two corner posts, top rails, chain-link including all tension bands, bars and wires, the bottom of fence will I have a tension wire running the entire length of the fence. The top rail will include angled barb arms to hold three strands of barb-wire; total fence height of fence with barb wire will be 7 feet tall and approximately 372 feet long. Contractor will be required to survey and measure all elevations. The fence cannot be any higher than the existing guardrail on Kennedy Memorial Drive or any lower on the Dam face at the Glory Hole of 1222.5 feet. The North American Standard Industrial Classifications System Code is 238990 and the size standard is $14 million. The project range is less than $25,000. Completion is required within 30 days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. Work to commence on or about September 1, 2010. A site visit is scheduled for August 17, 2010 at 10:00 am Pacific Time. Contractor's are responsible for periodically checking the site for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of August 26, 2010. Offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from emerging small business concerns only. Offers that are not from an emerging small business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. Submit quotations to the attention of Sheri A.
