- The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) intends to issue a solicitation on or about 17 August 2010 for the maintenance and repairs of various crane and hoists consisting of annual maintenance of all machines, quarterly inspection and on-call emergency repairs. More details will be provided in the Performance Work Statement which will be incorporated in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities and on the Mission & Installation Contracting Command Center-Yuma website (http://www.yuma.army.mil/site_contracting.asp).The solicitation number will be W9124R-10-T-0021. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government based on best value based on Technical Acceptability, Past Performance, and Price Government reserves the right to award to other than low offeror. A firm-fixed price (FFP) contract type is anticipated. The contract will be for a one-year base period, and will include 2 one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 with a small business size standard of $6.0 Million. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside.
