- Department of Veterans Affairs VA MidSouth Healthcare Network (VISN 9) Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Memphis, 1030 Jefferson Ave, Memphis, TN 38104 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with GE Medical Systems, Inc. of Milwaukee, WI for Remote Service Agreement Proprietary GE Centricity Software ® for VA Medical Center Memphis, TN CY PACS X-Ray system. The NAICS code for these supplies is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Government believes that GE Medical Systems, Inc. is the only authorized provider for copyright GE Centricity Software ®. This is a sole source procurement utilizing, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can provide these services may give written notification to the Contract Specialist, no later than 4:00 PM CST, August 13, 2010. Supporting evidence of ability to provide Service to OEM Software support for GE Centricity ® software remotely must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the Contract Specialist Roy Rossignol via email address: roy.rossignol@va.gov or faxed to (615)225-5432. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source negotiation to GE Medical Systems, Inc for the required Centricity Software support ®.
