- This notice is a Request for Information (RFI). Contractors experienced with demolishing buildings of at least 20,000 square feet are invited to reply. The information obtained from responses to this notice may be used as market research for future projects at Air Force Research Laboratory Rome NY. Please note that there is no requirement for building demolition at present. The relevant NAICS code is 238910 with an associated small business size standard of $14,000,000 average annual receipts. Please include the following information in the response to this notice: (1) Company name, CAGE code or DUNS number, and Point of Contact. (2) Summary of Safety and Quality Control methods, not to exceed 2 pages. (3) Verification of insurance coverage for building demolition work. (4) Past performance information for up to 10 projects successfully completed within the last 3 years. For each project, please address the following: - project scope and magnitude (description, scheduling, square feet, number of floors, total cost, any costs associated with non-demolition work, description of non-demolition work). - types of hazardous materials handled, if any. - description of work performed by subcontractors and the percentage of work that was subcontracted. - contract numbers, project titles, and points of contact. Interested contractors are invited to submit their responses by email to andrew.clark@rl.af.mil. All information must be received before 3:00 PM (ET) MON 23 AUG 2010. Please note that this RFI is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Any information provided to the Government as a result of this RFI is voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses or the Government's use of such information.
