- The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources for a Portable Weigh in Motion (WIM)Profiling System to be integrated into an existing Deployable Automated Cargo Measurement System (DACMS) for the Logistics Operations School (LOS) at Camp Johnson, NC. This is not a solicitation for proposals. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This notice is for planning and informational purposes only and shall not be considered as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this notice or the Government's use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor's input resulting from this notice. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Data submitted in response to this notice will not be returned. Information is being requested in order to make potential future requirements better for industry and the Government. The LOS teaches the weight and measurement procedures for deploying cargo to Embarkation Specialists, Landing Support Specialists and Logistics Officers. The LOS currently has a portion of an existing Intercomp DACMS and requires the integration of a WIM Profiling System to complete the DACMS. The DACMS is a portable Weigh in Motion System. The Draft Statement of Work has been attached and describes the scope, requirements and deliverables pertaining to this Sources Sought Notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should not exceed fifty (50) pages and must contain the following information: Price; description of what can be provided to satisfy the requirements, availability of items: (1) Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance expertise directly related to the General Requirements. Additionally provide the following: Name of Company, CAGE code, company, business size/classification, street address and program, technical and business points of contact information including email; (2) Specific customers and descriptions of the referenced services provided within the last 5 years; (3) Link to the respondents appropriate GSA Schedule or current/recent contract vehicle, or attached file of same (contract documents will not be counted toward your total page limitation); and (4) a recommendation of an acquisition strategy to include delivery, integration, testing, installation and demonstration.
