- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization intends to award a single source purchase order to OCE North America, Inc. (OCE) for performing on-site maintenance and repair service on OCE plotters, scanners and accessories located in FAA facilities in the following cities:Jamaica NY Kansas City MO Des Plaines IL Fort Worth TX Atlantic City NJ The contract is for a term of one year with a one year option. The justification for this sole source procurement is based on the results of the FAA's market investigation indicating that OCE is the only source available with the knowledge, expertise, organizational structure and availability of parts to fulfill the requirement of the attached Statement of Work. This investigation includes the responses to a market survey posted on FAA Contract Opportunities on June 16, 2010. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform the industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures.
