- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The VA Medical Center in Erie, PA is seeking sources able to provide inspections, maintenance, and emergency service calls for the 2 main facility generators. The contractor shall be in compliance with all VA, local, state, and federal environmental/occupational safety and health (OSHA) laws, rules and regulations. All technicians must be certified and trained to perform maintenance work on Caterpillar and Cummins generators and are required to have a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience for each type of generator. The government intends to issue this solicitation under full and open competition with a base year plus four option years; and will do so depending on the qualified interest to this notice. NAICS code 811310 applies. All responses to this notice must be submitted by close of business 08/09/2011 via email to Cynthia Grygier, Contract Specialist at Cynthia.grygier@va.gov.
