- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to notify industry of the FAA's intent to enter into a single source contract with ISA Software LLC of Washington DC. The FAA has a specific requirement to continue previously examined research entitled High Altitude Trajectory Based Airspace. The work shall be one task which includes development of input parameters, model execution, and output analysis. The analysis will study the effects of moving the Flight Level cut off for High Altitude Airspace above or below FL340 and examining the effects based on FAA required metrics. The FAA will provide the Flight Levels that require examination. In addition, the analysis will include various equipage levels to be examined. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm does not agree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capabilities and experience in providing the above service. The FAA will evaluate this accordingly. All responses to this announcement must be directed to Kimberly Knight no later than 12 noon, Eastern Standard Time, August 10, 2010.
