- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Janitorial Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, and supplies required to perform cleaning services. All cleaning procedures and treatments shall be accomplished in accordance with the manufacturer's directions and/or listed specifications and industry standards applicable to the Professional Cleaning and Restoration Industry. The facility: This janitorial cleaning solicitation is for the facility at Building E-1356, Bush River and Scully Roads, Gunpowder, MD 21010, located at the Edgewood area of APG, MD. The facility is a one story building and is approximately 6500 square feet. The facility accommodates approximately 40 employees. All floors are carpeted with a low pile carpet except vinyl floor tiles in the mens toilet (180 SF), womens toilet (180 SF) and the computer server room (72 SF). The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 02 Aug 2010, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered sensitive, but unclassified documents and require users to have valid MPIN entered in the FBO systems to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. Proposals can be mailed to: U. S.
