- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for pavement replacement in East Grand Forks, MN. Project work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required for removal and replacement of approximately 107 linear feet of curb-and-gutter, 463 square yards of concrete pavement, removal and replacement of aggregate base course, repair and replacement/reconstruction of two catchbasins and one manhole, removal and replacement of driveways within the work limits to the first joint. The work also includes incidental costs of establishing and maintaining traffic control during the removal, replacement, and concrete curing; maintenance of seeding; removal and replacement of road signs as necessary; protection of existing vegetation, and debris removal. The procurement is a 100% set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. The estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The Small Business Standard Size is $33.5 million. The solicitation, including specifications and all other documents related to this procurement, will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) on or around 17 August 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The tentative date for receipt of quotations is 16 September 2010. The estimated date for completing contract performance is 15 November 2010. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for the solicitation and amendments.
