- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for quantity of 4 Military ATR Chassis and quantity of4 Chassis Mounting Tray. The specifications are:Part Description: 3/4 ATR, 7 Slot military Chassis Flow through Air Cooled Military VME64x Backplane The back side of J0, J2 shall have long pins, by VMEbus specifications, and have pinshrouds installed Auto range & Auto frequency military PSU with 90-264VAC & 40-800Hz Input Power, 500Watts Output Power Extra 3.3VDC 45 Amps DC/DC converter-6Uboard fitted and wired in backplane slot 7 High Profile Top Cover with 35 mm of top clearance, High profile Bottom Cover with 50mm of bottom clearance One 115VAC & 65 CFM Rotron rear military Fan fitted for auto voltage & frequencythrough an Electronics Converter Box, EMI/EMC finger guard, Chassis Black color, reference designators and legends in contrasting (preferred white) color Front connector panel layout will follow NASA requirements and consist of the followingMIL-C-38999 uniquely keyed connectors:o J1: D38999/20FJ35SNo J2: D38999/20FE35SNo J3: D38999/20FJ35SAo J4: D38999/20FH35SNo J5: D38999/20FE35SAo J6: D38999/20FJ35SBo J7: D38999/20FJ35SBo J8: D38999/20FE06PNo J9: D38999/20FJ35SC Base dimension of the chassis in mm: 170.0 x 236.0 x 390.0 plus the required height ofthe top and bottom covers. Front panel LED indicators: ON, SYSFAIL (SYSF), ACFAIL (ACF), & VME (when there isdata transfer activity on the VMEbus. Provide ARINC-404 front panel mounting hooks (NAS-622CT3) and rear panel pinreceptacles to use with the mounting tray. The chassis can be hard mounted or mounted on a shock-isolated tray. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. Theinformation required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than 4:30pm local time on August 11, 2010. Quotes/Proposal are due no later than4:30pm local time on August 16, 2010 It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor thissite for the release of amendments (if any).
