- PRE-SOLICITATION CONFERENCE: 10 Aug 2010, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Scott Theater in the Museum of Aviation, Warner Robins GA. One on One meeting with contractors will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis from 1:00 through 4:00 PM on 10 Aug and from 8:00 to 4:00 PM on 11 Aug in half hour increments. Aircraft Structural Component Prime Vendor (ASCPV) supply contracts to provide Government items with an anticipated unit cost of less than $5,000.00, excluding DLR NSNs. The anticipated list includes approximately 2,000 items in the category of low-price, consumable items - FSC 1560 primarily. It should not be expected that all items will be ordered in any given year. The items include DLA consumables and depot level repair spares for the Air Force, Army, and Navy. This is a sourcing type of effort in that the contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and shipping the items to the end user/customer. There is no stocking, storing, or inventory management involved in this effort. Based on current market research, it is anticipated that this proposed contract action will be set-aside in the Service Disabled Veterans category. However, all are invited to attend. The contract is expected to be a FFP (Firm-Fixed-Price), ID/IQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) type. The acquisition strategy is for a 5-year potential contract with a 2-year basic period, a 2 year option and a final 1 year option period awarded based on established contract criteria. The draft solicitation and potential list of items will published in FedBizOps by COB 3 Aug 2010.
