- RECOVERY ACTION - The Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded an 8(a) set-aside Firm-Fixed Price contact valued at $1,776,846, to TerranearPMC LLC. This contract is for the decontamination and decommissioning of the Test Reactor Area (TRA)-712 retention basin and associated support structures at the DOE Idaho National Laboratory funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The work to be performed includes characterization of the materials remaining in TRA-712; isolation of utilities to the basin(s); removal of all support equipment (e.g., miscellaneous valves, piping, pumps, motors, and electrical panels as required); relocation of TRA-636, Warm Waste Effluent Monitor Station; demolition of TRA-712; demolition of TRA-612, Retention Basin Sump Pump House; and demolition of TRA-760 Inactive Monitoring Station.
