- This notice advises that the 647th Contracting Squadron, Hickam AFB, Oahu, Hawaii, intends to procure the following materials to be utilized by the Government for rapid troubleshooting and testing of end-to-end connectivity for communication data circuits. The materials are as follows: P2 Firebird 8000 Data Test Package, OC48DSC Dual T1 thru OC48 TX/RX, FT1 Fractional T1 Analysis, and the ASP Advance Stress Patterns. These items are required in order to provide accurate and real-time performance monitoring to the technician from Wake Island to Hickam AFB, HI. The Government will set aside this requirement as a small business set aside (SBSA) and award a firm fixed price contract; specifically, to provide the aforementioned items. This synopsis serves to notify and inform all potential contractors of the forthcoming solicitation which will be posted on or about August 2, 2010. This notice does not serve as a solicitation nor are offers being accepted at this time. This notification serves only as a notice to all interested companies of the Government's intent to post a solicitation. The solicitation, when posted will be done under solicitation number: FA5215-10-R-0022 NAICS: 423690 The delivery time, item description requirements, salient features, and all other related information will be posted and made available when the solicitation is posted.
