- FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, clauses Pacific Southwest Research Station has a requirement for small GPS collars with remote data download capabilities. This requirement and subsequent award is issued as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation IAW FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Collars must meet or exceed the following standard features, and be equal to or greater than our referenced model, Telemetry Solutions Quantum 4000E Small Collar, p/n 925-0042-00, and Telemetry Solutions Quantum 4000E Remote Download Option, p/n 925-0045-00 (reference www.telemetry solutions.com): Memory: 2500 positions Temperture range of operation: -40 to 60c VHF Beacon: Included, does not share the same battery as GPS, operates independently Available VHF frequency range: 148 NHz to 174 MHz Temperature sensor: invluded Mortality sensor: included Data Recovery: USB User Programmable Accuracy: <2.5 meters Unit Cost Total Cost 0001 20 ea _______ ________ Small GPS collars, Telemetry Solutions Quantum 4000E, or equal (8 collars must weigh less than 80 grams and be capable of collecting 1000 GPS locations. 12 collars must weigh less than 50 grams and be capable of collecting 500 GPS locations) 0002 20 ea ________ _________ Quantum 4000E Remote Download Option (or equal) 0003 1 lt _________ Shipping and Handling (Ship To: SNRC Forestry Sciences Laboratoty) 2081 E.
